I’ve been working on developing a lighting control software with potential integration with an automation engine like Home Assistant.

Specifically, I’m trying to understand how I would interface with socket cards in my setup. Does the automation control happen locally at the ReNetA or would I need to have an IP receiver/ PWM dimmer at each fixture? My goal is the control RGB, CCT and especially RGB + CCT light fixtures with high performance ‘film grade’ PWM dimming. I would also like to better understand how wall switches and sensors can be integrated.

Any guidance on how to integrate automation platforms like Home Assistant or my own, for dimming and color control would be greatly appreciated!

From my understanding of where this is all going, Home Assistant is high on the list of open source platforms that will have in integration.

I have ordered some lighting, but still waiting for the production batches to begin for my order.
